Super Bowl Sunday Shooting

Today was an interesting day to be out shooting. You ask "how so?" Well, it's has been several years since I shoot a PELLET rifle haha. One of the oldest and best friends happened to purchase a Gamo .117 air rifle for weekend plinking, and he asked if I would like to tag along and check it out. I was skeptical about this air rifle because heck its an "air rifle" right? Well, I was pleasantly surprised when heard this fire off. It was as loud as a 22, and it was just as much fun to shoot. The air rifle itself is accurate as hell, but the scope that comes with it leaves little to be desired. The rifle was purchased for $200 new, and considering that it could be used a great varmint gun, I think the price rate equal to that of 22s. Because it is an air rifle, its possibly more versatile than a 22. This IS NOT you the typical air rifle one purchases for the child growing up, and its without a doubt weapon that should be used under close supervision. Remember always to be safe!
